Golden Age cool! That’s the best way to describe Warner Home Video’s newest release, Batman: The Brave and the Bold, Season 2 part 1. I was pleased to see DC release another 2 disc set in this series. Like the other sets that I have reviewed here, this one does not disappoint. There’s some great stuff here such as, “Aquaman’s Outrageous Adventure!”, “Clash of the Metal Men!”, “The Super-Batman of Planet X!” and “The Power of Shazam!” My favorite title/episode? It has to be, “The Golden Age of Justice!” In this set you’ll find some great heroes teming up with Batman such as Green Arrow, Wildcat, Red Tornado, Atom, Plastic Man and others. This is really just like the Golden Age and Silver Age fun we all remember from many years ago.
As with the other DVD sets in this series, this one is very well done and will not disappoint. It is available for you to own starting August 16, 2011 so check it out today!
