The Horror! &#8211; Comic Books the Government Didn&#8217;t Want You to Read<\/em> by Jim Trombetta. \u00a0This book is over 300 pages and contains some great vintage horror reprints from the likes of Murphy Anderson, Johnny Craig, Reed Crandall, Jack Davis, Steve Ditko, Bill Everett, Al Feldstein, Graham Ingles, Wally Wood, Alex Toth and many others. \u00a0Not only are there a number of complete stories and covers reprinted, Trombetta has some great essays at the start of each chapter. \u00a0If that isn&#8217;t enough, there is a DVD included featuring <em>Confidential File<\/em>, a rare thirty minute TV show from 1955 concerning the &#8220;evils&#8221; of comic books and their effects on juvenile delinquency. \u00a0Very cool!<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_1566\" style=\"width: 224px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"http:\/\/goldenagecomics.org\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/The-Horror.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1566\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-1566\" title=\"The Horror!
