Golden Age of Comics Books – October 3, 2005 – #18

In this episode we don’t cover any specific Golden Age character, but instead discuss some of the earliest Golden Age titles, New Comics, New Fun Comics and More Fun Comics.  This was all one comic book published by DC Comics starting in 1935.  Through its various title changes, the title continued until the last issue of More Fun Comics was published in 1947 (issue #127).  Many of the great DC Superheroes were introduced in the pages of More Fun Comics and we discuss all of these events in this episode.  We also discuss the Simon and Kirby creation of Stuntman.
