GAC Featured Golden Age Cover – Four Color Comics (2nd Series) #9 (1942)

Here’s my beat but complete copy of Four Color Comics (2nd series) #9, featuring Donald Duck by Carl Barks and Jack Hannah in “Donald Duck Finds Pirate Gold!”.  This is Barks’ first published artwork on Donald Duck, and he went from here to become known as the “Good Duck Artist”, and created a rich tapestry of characters and stories to inhabit the Duck Universe.  He is celebrated as one of the legends of the Golden Age of Comic Books.   Enjoy!
