In this episode of the Golden Age of Comic Books, we cover the two great war titles from EC Comics: Two-Fisted Tales and Frontline Combat. Two-Fisted Tales debuted with issue #18 in 1950 and ran through issue #41 in 1955. Frontline Combat began with issue #1 in 1951 and ran through issue #15 in 1954. Much of the EC war material represented in these two titles was the brainchild of comics genius Harvey Kurtzman, but many of EC’s other outstanding artists and writers contributed to these classic stories. All of the EC titles have been reprinted over the years, and these two are a must read for fans of Golden Age war comics.
