Golden Age of Comic Books – January 26, 2006 – #33

In this episode we cover Spy Smasher from Fawcett.  Spy Smasher made his debut in Whiz Comics #2 (February, 1940) and continued in that title until he changed his name to Crime Smasher in issue #76 (July, 1946).  Crime Smasher continued until issue #83 of Whiz Comics (March, 1947).  He had his own title, Spy Smasher, that later became Crime Smasher and continued until 1948.
