Golden Age of Comic Books – August 30, 2005 – #13

In this edition of the Golden Age of Comic Books we cover one of DC Comics’ longest running titles, Adventure Comics!  Adventure ran from the mid-1930’s and first featured adventure stories before being dedicated to Sandman and other DC Comics superheroes.  The Sandman debuted in Adventure #40 (July 1939) and appeared until issue #102. The title then changed its focus to Superboy with issue #103.  Johnny Quick, Green Arrow and Aquaman also moved to Adventure with issue #103.
