In this episode of the Golden Age of Comic Books, we discuss none other than Plastic Man! Plastic Man was created by the great Jack Cole for Quality Comics. Plastic Man first appeared in Police Comics #1 in August, 1941. He was given his own title in 1943, and appeared in both Police Comics and Plastic Man until late 1956 when Quality ceased operations. As with many Quality characters, Plastic Man was purchased by DC Comics and his adventures still appear today in a variety of DC titles.
