In this episode, we cover the Boy Commandos who made their first appearance in Detective Comics #65 (July 1942) and later got their own title that debuted with issue #1 in the winter of 1942-43. The Boy Commandos were created by the great Golden Age team of Jack Kirby and Joe Simon (of Captain America fame). They also appeared in World’s Finest Comics. Their own title ran until issue #36 in 1949.
